SensFloor is a large-area sensor underlay that can be installed under any floor covering - unobtrusive and discreet. People walking across the floor generate signals that are transmitted to a receiver. This can calculate the number of people, their direction of movement and speed, as well as detect falls. Many standard interfaces for customer-specific infrastructures are available for data analysis. SensFloor can be used for a wide range of applications in care, ambient assisted living, building automation, assurance and multimedia.

- Capacitive sensors in SensFloor detect people and conductive materials
- Proximity-sensitive - no pressure required, therefore high long-term stability
- Presence detection even without movement

- Transmission of data by radio to a SensFloor receiver in the same room
- Receiver calculates the movements
