Kurzweil 1000 is an accessible, multilingual, speech-assisted Windows program for converting, reading, and editing text in various forms. Kurzweil 1000 is designed to make it easier for blind and partially sighted users to read or listen to texts.
Printed text can be scanned with Kurzweil 1000 and a scanner or a document camera. You can open and/or save files in various formats (DOC, DOCX, XLS, TXT, RTF, PDF, EPUB, DAISY, MP3, TIF, JPEG…). With this word processing program you immediately edit converted text.
