At the Adapted Reading Desk, books, newspapers and magazines can be requested in an adapted reading format if 'normal' reading is no longer possible. The adapted reading formats are Braille, spoken, large print and digital. The specific service is not only intended for the primary target group of blind and partially sighted people. This service is also accessible to people with a reading disability as a result of, for example, rheumatism, aphasia, spasticity or dyslexia.
