Description:
Exoped is an active exoskeleton for the lower limbs that enables paraplegics and people with walking disabilities to walk. It supports sitting, standing and walking and can replace wheelchairs.
The system supports the body weight and transfers it directly to the ground. Exoped can be worn over normal clothing and uses four electric motors in the hip and knee joints that move the legs with different movement patterns and speeds so that walking is possible without great effort.
